They have a slew of little stands selling everything. From clothes, to Venetian masks, artwork, and key chains. They also sell fresh fruit, veggies and seafood. Produce stands are outside, while the fish vendors are located inside. They have all sorts of fish. Every day the local fishermen bring a extensive variation of fish caught early that morning. From tiny sardines and anchovies. Tasty soft shelled crabs and large swordfish. Fleshy octopuses, shrimps, conchs and much more. This is especially nice if you are staying in a B&B/apartment, or have the capability to prepare meals while in Venice. Prices are comparable to other parts of Venice. Also, don’t forget to bargain with them. Most of the time they will relent and offer you a nice discount.
