Panzerotto can be described as a miniature (pocket-sized) pizza. They are rather small, so you can try more than one. They are fresh, tasty and have plenty of variety. Just to name a few, they have prosciutto and mozzarella. Spinach and ricotta. Salami and cheese. Tomato and cheese. And you can also choose between fried and oven baked, sweet or savory. There is something for everyone. Get there about ten minutes before they open. There is always a line, but it moves pretty quickly during lunch hours. The staff is multi-lingual, helpful and professional. After you buy your food, you stand outside to eat it. There are no tables to sit. It’s a popular lunch spot for the locals. Go there if you visit Milan. It’s a must.
