It is slightly off the main Sorrento town, yet it is only a\u00a0ten\u00a0minute walk from the center and the\u00a0Circumvesuviana metro.\u00a0Church Santa Maria Assunta Positano is only ten miles away.\u00a0The beach is accessible via narrow, steep stairs built into the cliff. They will lead you downhill directly to the Marina Grande village with its beaches and restaurants. There are about 300 steps you need to take. However,\u00a0it’s definitely worth it. It might be an issue for less mobile guests.<\/p>\n The public\u00a0areas are beautiful. Filled with gorgeous artwork, artistic plates, vases, interesting books and furnishings.\u00a0The staff is very engaging and always ready to help with arrangements for dinner, transportation and recommendations for sights to see in Sorrento.<\/p>\n Maison La Minervetta Hotel Sorrento<\/strong> is elegantly\u00a0decorated in a nouveau nautical-theme. They feature 12 air-conditioned rooms that are beautifully decorated and well appointed. Each room has a floor-to-ceiling window that offers picture-perfect views of the Mediterranean Sea. They are all equipped with\u00a0Satellite TV,\u00a0minibar and safe.\u00a0Some of the rooms come with a balcony. Bathrooms come with shower\/tub combinations (handheld shower-head).\u00a0Hair dryer\u00a0and\u00a0complimentary toiletries\u00a0are also included.\u00a0Free Wi-Fi in public areas only. The hotel has\u00a0one junior suite.\u00a0It\u00a0has two balconies, and an amazing large walk-in hydro massage shower.<\/p>\n Each morning the breakfast buffet is served (between 8 am and 10:30 am) on a lovely rooftop terrace overlooking the\u00a0village of Marina Grande and Mount Vesuvius. Wide variety of pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bread, cheeses and meats. And hot food, cooked to order (eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles, etc). The hotel does not have an on-site restaurant for lunch and dinner.\u00a0However they serve amazing cocktails, plus local wines in the evening.<\/p>\n Maison La Minervetta Hotel Sorrento has a small swimming pool, and they offer towels and loungers.<\/p>\n There is a\u00a0small parking lot located right next to the hotel (free parking).<\/p>\n It’s hard to get a booking here, as the rooms are limited (only 12 rooms).
