It is located within a ten\u00a0minute drive from the center of of town.\u00a0However, that is alright, as they have a terrific shuttle service (and free) to the center.\u00a0Church Santa Maria Assunta Positano\u00a0and the famous\u00a0Spiaggia Grande Beach Positano\u00a0are three miles away.<\/p>\n The views are terrific and the staff is truly magnificent. They are all down to earth and very friendly. Their goal is to make you feel welcomed and comfortable in your home away from home.\u00a0The overall decor of the hotel is an old world style. The main entrance is at the top, while the rest of the rooms are below.<\/p>\n This 5 star hotel features 56 air-conditioned rooms. The rooms are spotless and spacious, and most of them have terraces overlooking the\u00a0Mediterranean sea.\u00a0Their classic rooms are equipped with a double or twin beds (accommodate up to three adults). Some come with a balcony or terrace with sea views.\u00a0Junior suites have a terrace with sea views and a large living space (for two adults).\u00a0Deluxe rooms are large and provide panoramic sea views from the balcony or terrace\u00a0(for two adults).\u00a0All rooms have satellite TV, minibar. Bathrooms have bathtub or shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. A safety box is only available in reception.\u00a024-hour room service is available. Wi-Fi access is also available, for an additional charge.<\/p>\n Le Agavi Hotel Positano<\/strong>\u00a0has\u00a0three restaurants on site. La Serra serves typical Mediterranean cuisine and offers amazing views from the large windows and terrace.\u00a0The pool restaurant offers a wonderful local cuisine.\u00a0Restaurant Remmese on the private beach is awesome, serving fresh fish specials with spectacular sea views.\u00a0Buffet breakfast on the terrace is excellent with every imaginable item from pastries, yogurts, fresh fruit, eggs, ham and mozzarella. Fresh juice and great coffee.<\/p>\n If you plan to take a break from sightseeing, the hotel has a pool and a private beach. The large swimming pool is set on a panoramic terrace, again with awesome views.\u00a0The hotel’s private beach is also terrific. It allows you to get some sun and swim in the ocean without leaving the hotel.\u00a0There is a tram (funicular rail) to take you half way down the mountain side to an elevator.
