Miramalfi Hotel Amalfi<\/strong><\/p>\n Miramalfi Hotel Amalfi is situated on the side of a cliff with gorgeous views of the sea, marina and the town of Amalfi. The\u00a0location of this lovely hotel is perfect with just a short stroll to town. It’s just a\u00a0five minute walk to town, but walking back is all uphill. If you decide to walk, you need to be careful. It is a windy and very narrow road with cars speeding by. You also need to walk through a tunnel and then take a flight of steps down the center of town.\u00a0The hotel does offer a complimentary shuttle to and from the hotel. It runs in the morning through the early evening as well.\u00a0There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that will take you to Sorrento, Positano, etc.<\/p>\n Upon arrival, you will be greeted in a very friendly manner by the attentive and accommodating\u00a0front desk.\u00a0They are magnificent with information, boat and bus times, and making restaurant reservations. And they speak\u00a0great English, another bonus!<\/p>\n Miramalfi Hotel Amalfi<\/strong> offers forty-nine rooms to choose from. Rooms are big, compared to the European standard.\u00a0They have a nice mix of standard and superior rooms. In addition they have junior suites and some honeymoon suites.\u00a0Each room has a TV with satellite channels, free Wi-Fi (works well). It also includes air conditioning and a minibar. Some of them rooms come with a balcony. The bathroom comes with a hairdryer and enough toiletries.<\/p>\n The salt water pool\u00a0is built into the cliff face at the base of the hotel, with loungers (sunbeds) everywhere.\u00a0They have a waiter that serves drinks poolside, and they offer complimentary towels.\u00a0You can go to the ocean directly by stairs and by elevator (carved out of the cliff). The area is private, nice and very peaceful.\u00a0There are sundecks on the rocks above the ocean with loungers, umbrellas and beach towels.\u00a0There is\u00a0an iron ladder\u00a0that goes directly into the water. And if you are feeling adventurous,\u00a0you can \u00a0jump (a few feet)\u00a0off\u00a0the lower ledge into the sea.<\/p>\n The restaurant serves traditional Campania cuisine. Great food and service. The view from the dining room is truly exceptional looking at Amalfi and the ocean. Breakfast is complimentary, and served in the same dining room.
