Hotel Residence Amalfi<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hotel Residence Amalfi is centrally located in Amalfi town. It is directly opposite the beach, and the pier where the ferries depart to Capri, Positano, Naples, etc.\u00a0And\u00a0just a few meters away from the main square (Piazza Duomo) with access to a multitude of restaurants, shops, and bars.\u00a0The bus stop is also in the immediate vicinity and will take you to other towns along the Amalfi coast.<\/p>\n

Hotel Residence Amalfi<\/strong> has twenty-seven rooms. The hotel was fully renovated four years ago, and is fully sound proof. Windows have shutters on so that helps block out the noise.\u00a0The decor of the communal areas are very interesting and eclectic.\u00a0The lounge area is beautifully decorated and very peaceful.\u00a0The marble staircase is absolutely stunning.\u00a0All rooms feature a balcony or terrace, that overlooks the sea or on the Piazza Duomo.\u00a0They are all equipped with a satellite LCD TV, safe, minibar, direct telephone and a hairdryer. Fresh towels are given twice a day, and clean sheets every day.\u00a0Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.<\/p>\n

The staff in the hotel are courteous and speak English very well.\u00a0Very helpful with providing\u00a0directions, tips for local excursions.<\/p>\n

Breakfast is plentiful with lots to choose from cakes, pastries, fruits. Fresh breads, meats and assorted cheese. Also bacon, and eggs made to order. And the terrace overlooking the water is a delightful place to start the day discussing your plans.\u00a0The kitchen staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.<\/p>\n

Hotel Residence Amalfi\u00a0does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner (only breakfast). But the front desk will be more than happy to recommend and book a local restaurant for you.<\/p>\n

I recommend drinks on the hotel terrace as the best way to start your evening. The bar staff are super friendly, and they make fabulous cocktails.\u00a0Prices are reasonable for a hotel, and all drinks are served with tasty nibbles.<\/p>\n

Additionally, street side bedrooms have fantastic views of the coast and Mediterranean Sea.<\/p>\n

Hotel Residence Amalfi doesn’t have a parking lot on the premises.\u00a0The hotel does offer a discount voucher for the nearest parking lot. You need to drop off your luggage first. The front desk will then give you the voucher so you can park your car at the garage.<\/p>\n

Room Tip: Ask for a bedroom that comes with a balcony\u00a0overlooking the sea.[\/tab]<\/p>\n
