Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi<\/strong><\/p>\n Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi is in a wonderful location, perched on a cliff\u00a0offering the most amazing views of the sea and Coast.\u00a0It’s a five minute walk from the center, but quite a climb up. However, this isn’t unusual as many of the hotels in Amalfi\u00a0are built into the cliff.\u00a0The ferry is really close by and you can take it to Positano, Sorrento, etc.<\/p>\n When you arrive at the hotel, there is an elevator that will take you within the hillside up to the hotel. From there another elevator will take you to reception on the fifth floor.<\/p>\n Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi<\/strong> is five star elegant hotel housed in a former\u00a012th century monastery.\u00a0It\u00a0has been immaculately restored with contemporary white interiors.\u00a0The refurbished Abbey Chapel and Cloisters is a beautiful opportunity for quiet reflection.\u00a0The communal areas are light and airy with fantastic views.\u00a0The entire property is simply breath-taking.<\/p>\n Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi\u00a0features fifty-three rooms.\u00a0There are thirty seven rooms among the Classic, Superior and Deluxe Rooms. And seventeen Junior Suites and Suites.\u00a0Rooms are spotless and modern, with touches of old world charm, like the vintage tiles.\u00a0Some rooms are equipped with a balcony.\u00a0Most of the Deluxe Suites and Jr Suites\u00a0offer either a balcony or a terrace with excellent views of the Amalfi\u00a0coast.\u00a0All bedrooms include air-conditioning, and heating. A satellite TV, and free Wi-Fi. A minibar, safety box, among other things.\u00a0Private bathroom with elegant marble baths. Plenty of toiletries\u00a0and a\u00a0hairdryer.\u00a0Sheets and towels changed at your request.<\/p>\n The service in the hotel is excellent.\u00a0The staff <\/span>are so kind and attentive. Always ready to assist,\u00a0<\/span>and make sure that you have a wonderful stay.\u00a0They spend extra time helping you reserve a private boat if needed, and suggesting amazing restaurant recommendations.<\/span><\/p>\n The breakfast is delicious with lots to choose from; fruits, fresh pastries, meats and cheeses, etc.<\/p>\n And if you need some downtime from the sightseeing, the infinity pool at the hotel is heavenly.\u00a0The pool is heated, with such an amazing view.<\/p>\n I would recommend booking dinner in the hotel also. They have\u00a0two amazing restaurants. Both serve delicious cuisines.
