Hotel Dei Cavalieri Amalfi<\/strong><\/p>\n Hotel Dei Cavalieri Amalfi is a great location with views overlooking the deep blue sea and along the coast.\u00a0Situated up the hill from the town. It’s about a fifteen minute walk from the city center of Amalfi. The walk is along the busy road for most of the way. So watch out for the traffic! It might\u00a0be difficult for anyone with limited mobility.\u00a0No sidewalks and the road is very narrow. Going down is good, but it’s all up hill on the way back.\u00a0The hotel offers a free shuttle service (stops at 5 p.m) that will drop you off in the town square. There is a SITA bus stop right outside the hotel, and SITA bus tickets can be purchased at most bars along the route.<\/p>\n Hotel Dei Cavalieri Amalfi<\/strong> features forty-seven rooms. They offer four different types to choose from\u00a0(quadruple, triple, twin, double and single).\u00a0Most of them have a sea view balcony that overlooks the Mediterranean sea, or the colorful lush garden.\u00a0All rooms come with a TV, air conditioning and private bathroom. Fresh towels, rooms are\u00a0cleaned each day to a high order.\u00a0Free Wi-Fi is only available\u00a0in the lobby,\u00a0and not in your room.<\/p>\n The staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is truly amazing. Communal areas are enriched by beautiful paintings, wood sculptures,\u00a0amazing artworks and antique furnishings.\u00a0You will find the staff to be extremely friendly and hospitable. Also very helpful by giving a lot of information about excursions in the area, sights to see and transport along the coast if needed. They speak English very well, which is a big bonus.<\/p>\n Breakfast is\u00a0very generous and good quality food. It’s the typical Italian fare of fresh rolls, cheese, cold cuts. It also includes fruit, yogurt and sweet cakes\u00a0with great coffee and juices.<\/p>\n There is a fantastic beach just a few minutes walk away from hotel. You need to head uphill and down a lot of steps (over 450) to the beach.<\/p>\n Free parking on site,\u00a0a luxury in Italy.\u00a0The elevator at the hotel is very small, but reliable.<\/p>\n Hotel Dei Cavalieri Amalfi\u00a0doesn’t have a pool on the premises. However, there’s a pool affiliated\u00a0with the hotel.
