Grand Hotel Vesuvio Sorrento<\/strong><\/p>\n Grand Hotel Vesuvio Sorennto is located on top of the hill which makes for a breathtaking view. It is positioned perfectly for a vista across the bay. And in the other direction, olive and lemon groves on the hillside. Grand Hotel Vesuvio Sorrento<\/strong>\u00a0has 250 rooms. All of them come with bath\/shower, air conditioning. A radio and satellite TV. mini-bar. Some of them have a balcony with sea view. Complimentary Wi-Fi access.\u00a0Rooms are pretty basic, but extremely clean and cleaned daily.<\/p>\n Entire staff is so helpful and friendly. Professional\u00a0and attentive to your every whim.<\/p>\n There is a very elegant lounge and rooftop bar offering\u00a0spectacular views across the Bay of Naples, and Mount Vesuvius.\u00a0The views are gorgeous and totally unobstructed.<\/p>\n The breakfast provided is a well stocked buffet with plenty of choices of everything you could wish for.\u00a0Cereals, yogurts and fresh fruit. Assorted breads, cheeses and cold cuts. As well as decadent pastries and cakes.\u00a0Cooked breakfasts, but you would need to ask the waiter for these. There is a juice machine that has four choices. Waiters serve coffee, tea or hot chocolate.<\/p>\n The\u00a0swimming pool\u00a0is large. It’s\u00a0spotlessly\u00a0clean, and so refreshing after a day of shopping and sightseeing.\u00a0There are lots of sunbeds and umbrellas available.\u00a0Snacks available at the poolside bar. They are all lovely, and ample for lunch without leaving the pool area.\u00a0Be aware the pool closes at 6 p.m.<\/p>\n The restaurant inside the hotel is excellent. The menu changes daily with a great variety. \nSet about ten minutes drive from the center of charming Sorrento. A little out of the way, but that just means the surroundings are quiet and peaceful. It\u00a0is about one mile from town. The distance to the town should not be an issue due to the hotel\u00a0offers a free shuttle bus. Very regular and reliable, starts at 9 a.m. and runs to 11 p.m. with a four hour break during the afternoon.\u00a0Walking down would be easy enough. However at night it can be a bit difficult, with minimal street lighting and the uphill journey.<\/p>\n
