This gives it amazing views\u00a0of the Sorrento bay, Mount Vesuvius and Naples. The hotel is located ten minutes (driving distance) from the city center of Sorrento. It’s about a thirty minute walk.\u00a0Il Nido Hotel Sorrento provides a free shuttle service to the city square and back. It runs at 8, 9 and 10 a.m. each morning, then 3 to 11 p.m. There is also a SITA bus stop right in front of the hotel.\u00a0It’s also a good base if you plan to take some walks up the hill to the monastery.<\/p>\n Il Nido Hotel Sorrento<\/strong> is a family run business.\u00a0The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Always ready and willing to help their guests to have the best vacation experience in whatever way they can. With advice, and providing excellent information about the things to do and how to arrange them.<\/p>\n Rooms are comfortable,\u00a0well appointed. Large by European standards. Kept very clean and tidy.\u00a0Decor is pretty standard, but who cares? How long do you actually stay in the hotel, with all the sightseeing you plan on doing. There is a\u00a0TV and mini-bar in the room (pay extra for mini-bar). The free Wi-Fi is excellent.<\/p>\n Breakfast and dinner is served on a terrace\u00a0overlooking the Bay of Naples, and the lush valley below.\u00a0Complimentary breakfast spread is exceptional, with a lot of variety. Cold cuts, cheese and fresh breads. Muffins, hash browns, cereal, fruits, hot beverages and juice. They also serve eggs and bacon. They also have a juicer, so you can make fresh orange juice. The restaurant is top notch.\u00a0The evening dining options are reasonable and delicious. They have a wonderful menu filled with delicious dishes that they prepare fresh every evening.<\/p>\n If you are looking for a rest day from sightseeing, be aware that\u00a0Il Nido Hotel Sorrento\u00a0doesn’t have a pool. However, it does have a sunbathing area (loungers, umbrella and a shower) for their guests.<\/p>\n In the basement of the hotel there is a washer and dryer, which is very useful if you are traveling light. Laundry soap is provided.<\/p>\n Free and easy access parking\u00a0at the hotel.<\/p>\n If you want to be close to the beach or a pool, this might not be the right place for you.\u00a0However, if you are a budget conscious traveler and want to enjoy Sorrento at a relaxed place, Il Nido Hotel Sorrento is just perfect.<\/p>\n Room Tip: If you’re willing to spend a little extra, get a room with a view.
