Ristorante Il Geranio Capri\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Ristorante Il Geranio is located on Via Matteotti, one of the quietest and loveliest places on the whole island of Capri. It is very close to a couple of Capri attractions such as the Gardens of Augustus Capri and Via Krupp.<\/p>\n The view is amazing. I do not recommend sitting inside the restaurant, unless you get a table in the front corner overlooking the water. Otherwise, you won’t get a view. The best option is to sit outside where you will have a view\u00a0overlooking the gardens of Augustus, the\u00a0Mediterranean sea to the majestic \u00a0Faraglioni rocks.<\/p>\n From the crab linguine, to the salt crusted sea bass, and peppercorn steak which is served with roast potatoes, all the food is excellent. The\u00a0walnut chicken is terrific and unique.\u00a0packed full of flavor<\/p>\n To get to Ristorante Il Geranio, you just have to follow the tree-lined path that is leading to the Gardens of Augustus. Otherwise, walk from the La Piazzetta Capri and you will get to the restaurant in few minutes.Ristorante Il Geranio Capri is open for lunch and dinner. Its hours of operation start at 12 noon until 3 PM for lunch and 7 to 11 in the evening for dinner. It is open from Sundays through Saturdays. From November to Easter season, the restaurant is closed.\u00a0It is on the top of a hill and contains a lot of steps. If you are an elderly person or have mobility issues you might have a hard time getting inside.<\/p>\n On most nights there is a singing guitarist who will serenaded you at tableside. He is very entertaining and friendly.\u00a0Great food and service, with a terrific setting.
