Met Restaurant Venice is a Michelin starred restaurant located inside Metropole Hotel Venice. This beautiful hotel is situated on The Grand Canal, and just a few minutes walk from St Marks Square.<\/p>\n

When entering Met Restaurant Venice, you will be greeted by the warm and genuine\u00a0maitre d’. He will show you to your table. Speaking in\u00a0impeccable English he will explain\u00a0the innovative menu.<\/p>\n

Met Restaurant Venice<\/strong> has two tasting menu’s. You can choose very traditional Venetian recipes cooked the old way, or the same recipes with a modern twist.\u00a0Each dish is composed brilliantly out of the same ingredients in the two menu’s. The traditional menu is excellently prepared and served. The contemporary choices are adventurous, whilst still serving up delicious food.\u00a0I would recommend ordering both. It gives you the opportunity\u00a0to compare the difference of the incredible way the traditional food is prepared. Also, you enjoy the chef’s creativity and vision in the modern interpretation.\u00a0They also offer a la carte as well.<\/p>\n

The ambiance is very romantic. The dining room is decorated elegantly in cream and details. The fireplaces give a very cozy feeling.<\/p>\n

The sommelier is brilliant. He will give you plenty of time to look through the wine list, and even recommended a reasonably priced bottle of wine. His\u00a0wine choices are spot on.\u00a0Throughout the meal, service from the waitstaff is helpful and attentive without being too much. Everyone contributes to make this event an experience you can enjoy.<\/p>\n

Met Restaurant Venice\u00a0is a bit expensive, however\u00a0you know exactly what to expect when you go there.\u00a0Friendly, personal service. High quality food. Carefully put together menu and lavish surroundings make it entirely worth it for a memorable\u00a0night.\u00a0If you are looking for somewhere to go for a special occasion then look no further.
