In the beautiful island of Capri, tourists can find a unique attraction called Parco Filosofico. Known in English as Capri Philosophical Park<\/strong>. It strategically lies in the small of town of Anacapri, specifically at Belvedere di Migliara. Gunnar Adler-Karlsson, a Swedish professor, along with his wife founded this park in the year 2000. This place is called \u2018philosophical park\u2019 because it features dozens of quotes by over 50 Western philosophers. The quotes are written on small tablets.<\/p>\n

Getting to the Park<\/b><\/p>\n

Upon arriving in the island, take a bus to Anacapri.\u00a0Take the bus to the end of the line, the last stop is after La Piazzetta Capri. \u00a0From here, you will continue by foot. You will be heading towards the Belvedere di Migliara, where the park is located. I would say it is about a half an hour walk.<\/p>\n

One-of-a-Kind<\/b><\/p>\n

In Japan, specifically in Kyoto, there is also a place called The Philosopher\u2019s Path. However, unlike the Philosophical Park in Capri, this Japanese stone path and cherry blossom garden does not have a single inscription. Another difference is that The
\nPhilosopher\u2019s Path in Japan has nearby boutiques, caf\u00e9s, and restaurants while the philosophical park in Anacapri is isolated. In fact, the latter can be an ideal hiding place for self-meditation.<\/p>\n

Quotes and Philosophers<\/b><\/p>\n

When in Capri Philosophical Park, some of the quotes you will encounter are:<\/p>\n

\u201cConosci te stesso.\u201d (Know thyself.)<\/i><\/p>\n

A Serene Haven<\/b><\/p>\n

Capri Philosophical Park in Anacapri is quite far from the hustle and bustle of downtown Capri. Although getting here means traveling some miles, the effort is worth it. This place is perfect for travellers who are looking for a quiet and peaceful yet truly beautiful haven. This philosophical park which is along the Migliera Path offers both amazement and relaxation to the eyes and soul.<\/p>\n
