Calzaiuoli Hotel<\/strong> is situated on the Via Calzaiuoli. That is the main shopping street in the historic center of Florence. It goes from the Duomo to Piazza della Signoria. It would be hard to find a better location. You can find amazing restaurants with all price ranges within a few blocks. A short walk to both the Duomo and Ufizzi Gallery. It’s also only a block away from the Piazza della Republica. If you are coming from the Santa Maria Novella train station it will be a ten minute-walk. Calzaiuoli Hotel is located in in the pedestrian area of the inner city. They don’t allow auto traffic. Therefore there is virtually no noise inside the hotel.<\/p>\n The staff is friendly, responsive and very professional. From front desk to chamber maids and breakfast staff. The two lovely gentlemen working the front desk are very accommodating. They can make arrangements for tours. They will also recommend excellent nearby restaurants. Staff speaks and understands English without any apparent problem. Making your stay nice and easy.<\/p>\n Calzaiuoli Hotel has been refurbished recently. Rooms are very clean. They are\u00a0cozy and well appointed. The decoration and quality of the furnishings are top notch. Beds are super comfortable. The bathroom is a good size. It has all the amenities that you would expect in a four star hotel.<\/p>\n Included breakfast is delicious.\u00a0You can choose and enjoy\u00a0a nice mix of different foods. An impeccable staff offers eggs, breakfast meats and assorted cheese. They also have a variety of pastries, fresh fruit, juice and\u00a0coffee.<\/p>\n Wi-Fi is available, however fees apply.<\/p>\n Try not to stay on the first floor. It is a bit of a thoroughfare for all staff. Also the dining room for breakfast is there. Ask for a higher floor away from the street.
