Hotel Pendini<\/h2>\n
Hotel Pendini is in a premium spot in Piazza della Repubblica near Duomo. Therefore this 3 star hotel is easy walking distance to all Florence’s historic sights, including the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio, just a couple of minutes walking distance. Many restaurants, cafes and shops also surround it.<\/p>\n
Hotel Pendini has a perfect balance of modern and old world charm. The hotel lobby is on the fourth floor of what is apparently a former palace. It features antique furnishings and very high ceilings with gorgeous frescoes.<\/p>\n
The reception staff is fluent in English; they are very friendly and knowledgeable. They will gladly offer advice and tips, book dinner and tours for you. The rest of the staff is also helpful, courteous and friendly.<\/p>\n
The rooms can vary widely in terms of size. They have recently been remodeled and are comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom are both very clean. All rooms are air-conditioned and offer satellite TV. They supply a hair dryer, plenty of fluffy towels and offer free toiletries. They have free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.<\/p>\n
A free continental breakfast buffet is served every morning from 7:30 am until 10 am. It is delicious, plentiful and laid out beautifully. They offer assorted cheese, meats, bread, croissants, coffee cakes, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea and orange juice.<\/p>\n
Rates are reasonable considering the super location. Since the Hotel Pendini is located in the Piazza della Republica you can hear a variety of music playing outside from bars and restaurants. If you have a room facing Piazza della Repubblica you will hear it at night. For a quieter stay, you should request a room facing the courtyard. They also provided free luggage storage after checkout.<\/p>\n
You must let Hotel Pendini know beforehand if you intend to take your vehicle there. They don\u2019t have parking on the premises. However a private nearby garage with valet service is available for the hotel guests. Car parking is a separate fee.[\/tab]<\/p>\n
