Hotel Bigallo<\/strong> is located in the heart of Florence right next to the Duomo. A stay at this hotel places you steps from the Baptistery and a five-minute walk from the Church of San Lorenzo Florence. Ponte Vecchio and Bargello Museum is a ten-minute walk or short bus ride away. The surrounding area is packed with restaurants, caf\u00e9s and shops. <\/b><\/p>\n The entrance to Hotel Bigallo can be a little tricky. It is located down a short alley off the main street. Once you enter the building you have to take the small elevator at which point you will see the button labeled Hotel Bigallo. The hotel is situated on the third floor of this charming building.<\/p>\n The reception room is beautifully decorated and the views from its window even more breathtaking. The reception staff speaks a good amount of English and is available 24 hours a day. They will be eager to help answer your questions and make reservations.<\/p>\n Rooms are basic, clean and comfortable. There is a small refrigerator, safe and satellite TV with a few channels including CNN and BBC. The bathroom though a bit small as in many hotels is new and clean. It has a hair dryer and the usual toiletries. Wi-Fi connection is available in all areas of the hotel. However it is only free for one hour a day. After that there is a charge.<\/p>\n A complimentary continental breakfast is served buffet style each morning. It is served in a small dining area and offers a nice variety of meats, cheese, fruit, breads and pastry along with juice, milk. They have a wonderful coffee\/latte machine that blends your choice perfectly. You have to get up early because breakfast ends at 9:30 am.<\/p>\n Hotel Bigallo is a 3 Star hotel.\u00a0If you decide to book here please note only half of the rooms have a view of the square and the Duomo. Be aware of the proximity to the bell tower. The bell rings for several minutes every morning at 7:00 am. Hotel Bigallo doesn\u2019t have private parking.
