Via Veneto Rome<\/h2>\n

Via Veneto<\/strong> is one of the most prestigious and expensive streets in Rome, Italy.\u00a0The formal name is via Vittorio Veneto, regarding the Battle of Vittorio Veneto.\u00a0Most likely you know Via Veneto from Federico Fellini’s classic 1960 movie La Dolce Vita. This movie was mostly filmed around the Via Veneto area.<\/p>\n

I really think this is one of the most beautiful boulevards in the world. It isn\u2019t a very lengthy street. However this tree-lined street is full of elegant hotels, restaurants, bars and very impressive traditional boutiques. The iconic Harry’s Bar is located here. This bar became famous after it was featured in the film La Dolce Vita. The Caf\u00e9 de Paris is also a famous restaurant that is located on Via Veneto. It is situated real close to the beautiful American Embassy.<\/p>\n

If you decide to visit Via Veneto, you should start at Piazza Barberini. Take your time and soak up everything. Don’t miss the Triton Fountain in Piazza Barberini nor the Fountain of Bees across the street. At the end of Via Veneto, is the dramatic entrance to Villa Borghese Gardens.<\/p>\n

My humble opinion is that the restaurants, bars and shops are a bit pricey. However it’s still fun to walk down and window-shop on this beautiful, famous road.<\/p>\n

If you continue walking through the park, you’ll reach the Pincio and Piazza del Popolo<\/strong> with it’s nearby attractions.<\/p>\n

On the bottom part of Via Veneto you are closer to: Church Santa Maria della Concezione, Piazza Barberini, Triton Fountain <\/strong>which is on Piazza Barberini and\u00a0Barberini Palace <\/strong>which is only\u00a0around the corner from Piazza Barberini.\u00a0<\/strong>If you walk down Via del Tritone and then make a left where you see the signs, you’ll hit Trevi fountain<\/strong> in around 10 minutes by walking.<\/p>\n
